A few Sundays ago Kade and I took seperate cars to church because I needed to stay after. When I got home we were having lunch and Liam told me that when they were on their way home they saw some policemen that had pulled a guy over. Then he said "...and the guy was sitting criss-cross applesauce on the sidewalk. What do the policeman say? Do they say get out of your car and sit right here criss-cross applesauce?!" I couldn't stop laughing about it, when we were growing up that was called sitting Indian style, which is probably not politically correct anymore but at least it sounds tougher. Who came up with criss-cross applesauce? When Liam first said it to me after he had started pre-school I had no idea what he was talking about. Are they now making all the bad guys sit in that style to humiliate them, it probably wouldn't be humiliating to say sit down Indian style but no man wants to sit criss-cross applesauce!

I can't stop laughing! I am also a part of the Indian Style generation.
Hilarious...I remember in Kindergarten for Alexis they used that term and I was thinking...hmmm-must be a NV thing but then it dawned on me that some Indian was probably offended and we had to change it! Too funny!
He is too funny! I love to hear his comments.
