Crazy Day

I had a crazy day today. It just seemed to be non stop and I had the missionaries coming for dinner so it added one more thing to my list. I finally got to the point in my day where I had picked Liam up from school and I was frantically trying to cook and clean before we ran off for Liam's tennis lessons. So Liam was trying to help me fix the dessert and I realized I was out of milk which was my next ingredient. Well a couple of weeks ago I told Kade that we are going to eat our food storage for a while to try and cycle through it and that means we are also drinking dry milk. I have been hesitant to let the kids in on this information because they are already hard to please but here I was with Liam helping me and I needed milk right away! I thought maybe because I had so many things going at once he wouldn't question what I was doing but not much gets past him. So pretty soon he says"what is that you are making?" I told him that it was milk and he said "Wow! mom you even make HOMEMADE milk?! You really are the greatest cook in the whole world!" says the boy that complains about 90% of the things I fix.
